Knicks Squander Big Lead but Answer to Hold Off Lakers at Madison Square Garden

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (AP) - Jalen Brunson led the New York Knicks to a thrilling victory over the Los Angeles Lakers, scoring 11 of his 29 points in the fourth quarter to help New York hold off a late surge from the Lakers.
Despite squandering a 15-point lead in the second half, the Knicks answered back in the fourth quarter with Brunson leading the charge. Brunson scored 7 points in the final 2:30 of the game, including a key 3-pointer with less than a minute remaining to give the Knicks a 113-105 lead.
Anthony Davis led the Lakers with 28 points and 12 rebounds, while LeBron James added 25 points. Despite their efforts, it was not enough to overcome the Knicks' resilience in the fourth quarter.
With the win, the Knicks improved to 21-18 on the season, while the Lakers fell to 16-23.
