Indiana improves to 6-6 on the season while Chicago falls to 4-8
The Indiana Fever defeated the Chicago Sky 88-79 on Sunday afternoon at Wintrust Arena. The Fever led by just six points with 6:30 remaining in the game, but they closed the game on a 12-4 run to secure the victory.
Victoria Vivians led the Fever with 22 points, while Emma Meesseman added 20 points and 10 rebounds. Candace Parker led the Sky with 19 points, while Courtney Vandersloot added 16 points and 10 assists.
The Fever shot 48.2% from the field, while the Sky shot just 40.2%. The Fever also outrebounded the Sky 43-30.
The Fever will host the New York Liberty on Tuesday night, while the Sky will travel to Las Vegas to face the Aces on Wednesday night.
